restoring data to quickbooks desktop from a recovered failed hard drive

My hard drive failed and I had it professionally recovered.  I am trying to restore my data but i can not seem to access it.  I received an error message with this code.  80070057.  Any help??

Do you have any file of *.QBW, *.QBB, *.QBM, or *.ADR to restore?

Allow me to help you out with resolving this error you're getting when restoring your data.

 

QuickBooks Error 80070057 is run-time error  associated to communication issues with QuickBooks company file over a server. It happens if you don't have adequate permission to modify QB files on a specified folder.

 

To resolve this, follow the instructions from this article: Fix Error 80070057 (The parameter is incorrect).

  1. On your QuickBooks company file, click the Help menu.
