Buy nowTried to ship orders with stamps.com integrated into Quickbooks Pro and get the attached error.
Stamps.com returned an error: An error occurred in the secure channel support - URL:https://swsim.stamps.com/swsim/swsimv27.asmx - SOAPAction:http://stamps.com/xml/namespace/2013/02/swsim/SwsimV27/GetRates
Support from Quickbooks is nil. Stamps.com is working fine as standalone, but A PITA to enter and record shipping for 15 individual orders.
Tried AI chat.... worthless.
Finally got a real person.... worthless.
Waiting around for Intuit Support.... crickets.
So far the only Wednesday 'solution' is to Upgrade my QB Pro that worked fine on Tuesday to the Wednesday version of bells and whistles.
It's a heck of a racket Intuit has. Break it to force purchases. We don't own our Intuit software - we rent it. If they think I am going to store my company and customer data in their cloud they are nuts.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Fedup2022. I appreciate your detailed information and screenshot.
Since you're encountering an error returned from Stamps.com in the QuickBooks Shipping Manager for Stamps.com window, I'd initially recommend troubleshooting your built-in internal browser if you're using 2020, 2021, or 2022.
Here's how:
In the event you're using QuickBooks 2019 or an older version, you can consider purchasing a subscription to QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop to receive the latest version which includes recent critical updates. If you've already purchased a QuickBooks Desktop subscription, you can upgrade to the latest version.
You can also troubleshoot with your QuickBooks Tool Hub. Tools like Quick Fix my File or QuickBooks File Doctor are able to repair internal data issues. I'd additionally recommend confirming your computer meets each of the program's system requirements.
If the message continues displaying after each troubleshooting process, you'll want to continue getting in touch with our Customer Care team through chat/phone. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any questions. Have a great Wednesday!
What QB Desktop year version are you using?
No change.
2020 on Win 8.1
I know it's old but it does what I need it to do - invoices, keeps a history of orders and bills paid and (used to) ship orders. It has worked flawlessly until it didn't.
FYI the Intuit solution is (of course) switch to cloud QB, upgrade my hardware to run the newest QB, etc. No help whatsoever.
I'm pretty sure I found another system that does what I need without the up-sell.
Install the trial version of QB Desktop 2024 Enterprise to isolate the problem. If it works, you can use it for good as a workaround.
QB2024 is 64 bit only (per Intuit) so I would need to invest in new version of Windoze. Not worth it for one program.
