So, I went to resubscribe and it charged $15 for the month. went through payment wise. Then when I went and logged back in because the screen did not change it asked me to resubscribe again at 7.50 per month. So, I did it again, and got charged again. It is STILL asking me to resubscribe and pay $15 again!

Since we're unable to pull up your account here in the Community for security purposes, I highly suggest contacting our Support team. They have tools that can check your account in a secure environment and verify why you're still asked to resubscribe again to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). They can also process a refund if necessary.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. In QuickBooks, you'll need to ensure that you have valid credit card information to prevent your account from resubscribing.  

 

Here's how to review your subscription details, update your payment info, or change your billing address. 

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser. Don't use the mobile app.
  2. Select your profile ⚙ icon and then Billing info.
  3. In the Payment Information section, tap Edit.
  4. Update your payment info.
  5. Select the checkbox to acknowledge the change and confirm your updates.
  6. To update your billing address, enter your current address and new address in the next section.
  7. When you're done, press Update and then Close.

I have been locked out of my qbooks because I can't get into my acct to pay my subscription untuit doesn't like my user name or password even though I have them carefully written down

We can recover your user ID or reset your password, Olsengreis78. This way, you can log in and update the billing info for your subscription. 

 

Let me guide you:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Self-Employed sign-in page.
  2. Click I forgot my User ID or Password.
  3. Follow the steps on the screen to recover your sign-in information.

Once you're logged in, resubscribe to your account. You can check the article provided by AileneA above.

I received a messge last week that i needed to update payment information to renew. i have uodated but i still dont have access to my quickbooks, my credit card was billed on 05-26-2021 to cover my subscription.

You'll need to change the phone settings to turn off the Touch ID. You can refer to this article from the android site: Android Help

 

You can follow these steps for the ios:

 

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Swipe down and tap Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode).
  3. Swipe down again and tap Turn Passcode Off.
  4. Read the disclaimer and tap Turn Off.
