Join nowHas anyone been plagued with Unrecoverable messages today? I spent 4 hours on the phone with Intuit with no success. I have tried 2018, 2019 and 2020 both accountant's copy and QB work files for various clients and my software continues to crash. I also tried it on another computer I have with using networking and the problem occurs.
I was told it was a frequent problem today probably due to a QB update. I have lots of work to get out and can not get around the crashes. WE have tried so many things including QB Tools hub, Uninstalling the software and reinstalling both with and with out updates. None of these things have improved the situation.
There is an ongoing issue with the latest update
I do appreciate your time and effort in getting the issue fixed, spfreeman.

Using QB Pro 2018. Crashes immediately after startup, after I try to access reports. Problem occurs with multiple company files. Used Quickbooks Tool Hub to no avail. Reinstalled QB Pro 2018 yesterday, using downloaded file from Intuit. Updated to all maintenance fixes. Worked yesterday after reinstalling but crashing again today.
Thank you for the detailed information, @springbrook.

I'll be around if you need further assistance. Have a great day!
I spent all day yesterday on this. QB support was worse than useless.
The only solution is to uninstall and reinstall QB and NOT install any QB Updates. This resolved it for me.
As soon as I allowed the QB update to install, the problem returned and I had to repeat The process of uninstalling and reinstalling.
