Updating Billing Information

The credit card I had on file for my monthly payroll subscription expired and I received a message to update my information.  I went in to my Intuit account and entered the new credit card but my QB still says I need to "reactivate my account".  I have double and triple checked the information I put in and it's correct, but still nothing.  I have to run payroll today and I am not sure how to proceeds.

Updating Billing Information

I appreciate you for ensuring your credentials are accurate, @footballfan5910. I'll make sure you'll be able to process your payroll.

To begin with, please ensure your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is up-to-date and you've downloaded the latest tax table. This way, we can ensure your QBDT is running on with the newest patch and fixes. Then, update your payroll subscription again.

If the issue persist, I recommend logging out and logging back in to your Intuit Account to refresh it and for the changes to take effect. If this is not the case, I suggest contacting our support team. One of our agents can look into your account and investigate why you're still being prompt to reactive your account.

There, they can also share with you some troubleshooting steps in fixing the issue. Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Go to Help menu then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to connect.

Please ensure to check their support hours to know when agents are available.
