Payer transaction says null

I don't have Quickbooks, but my client does. She input a payment for me and the transaction says null. When she clicks on it she gets a blank page.

I received a payment in my account today that was sent last week. This one didn't say null, but she did get a blank page when she clicked on it.

Help??

Payer transaction says null

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, pritcharddesign! It's great to see you making your first post. I want to emphasize how important it is for your clients to verify their transactions to ensure successful payment processing. I’m here to guide you through the troubleshooting steps that will allow them to check their payer entries effectively.

One possible reason they're unable to preview the payer transactions could be that their browser has accumulated too many cached files. QuickBooks relies on the browser's cache to function efficiently, so clearing any outdated files can help improve their viewing experience and overall system performance.

Let them start troubleshooting by pulling up their Merchant account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, let them search for their transactions and open the details.

If they're able to do so, have them return to their default browser and clear their cache. After that, they can restart their browser and log back into their QuickBooks Payments account to refresh the system.

However, if this matter continues, I recommend clicking the browser's Refresh icon (please see the screenshot below) or using other supported browsers

However, if your client's payment entry still shows null, it could indicate an issue with their account during the transaction procedure. I suggest they reach out to our Payments Care team for further assistance. They'll be able to investigate the problem and work towards a resolution.

Additionally, if your client is interested in monitoring their monthly payments to various vendors, I highly recommend sharing this informative article with them. It provides a step-by-step guide to help them navigate the process smoothly: Run and save a monthly expense report by vendor.

I'm glad I was able to assist you today, pritcharddesign. You can always return here by commenting below if you have clarifications or questions concerning your client's payments or related topics. I'll make sure to respond as soon as possible. Wishing you productive and successful business operations!
