QuickBooks Online Declining Credit Card Payments

I've been with QBO for 2 months and have grown so many gray hairs over this issue.  Can't accept client CC payments through QB invoices and everything also gets declined when I enter the details manually.  Then, for fun, I tried my own card at $3,000, $1,500, $500 and everything was declined also.  The invoice my client was trying to pay was $2,700.

 

I escalated a ticket with QB 4-weeks ago and still have not heard back.  This is after several calls to complain about this which were met with "We reserve the right to decline a credit card transaction with no explanation".  It's clear this company couldn't care less about the little guy.  I've had nothing but issues with handling payments and money through Green Dot.

 

This is supposed to be easy.  How can someone grow their small business if one of the biggest players in the game is not only preventing money through the door but doing nothing to help or fix it.

 

I would hope for some degree of response but not holding my breath.

Thank you but I have to be honest with you, it's pretty wild for you to read about my experience and then tell me to go and call QB Payments back and Green Dot Bank back as the solution and completely absolve your company of any responsibility for properly handling my issue.  I spent a week on the phone with both of them, 5 different people total, before somebody had the lightbulb go off to escalate a ticket on my behalf but that still wasn't enough for QB to care.  Four weeks later, still no response from either of them.  Tell me you couldn't care less about the little guy without telling me you couldn't care less about the little guy.

 

As an alternative solution to your suggestion, here's mine:  Please contact people in your office and within your team and network and have somebody call me back with a solution.  It is not my job to beg for your help.  It is your job to help us unlock the full capabilities of your software and make sure that we're able to use the features we pay for.  I did my part.  Now do yours.

Exact same problem here.  Mind numbing incompetence from customer service at the phone lines.  I had an investigation started for the same problem after 4.5 hours on the phone.  Overnight, I received an email that the investigation had been closed with no resolution.  Now, they want me to try again on the phone from the bottom.  How is this possible? This shows such a lack of respect for customers.  
Did you ever get your situation resolved?

QuickBooks Online Declining Credit Card Payments

No.  I just opened up Stripe and Square accounts to process payments as well as another bank account at a real bank so i don't have to use any banking/processing provided/offered by QB.  Customer service is trash and the lack of information or fix for this is enough for me to never use them for this stuff.  They're simply a bookkeeper for me now and I have things integrated with it.
