On one computer my checks print correctly. On a new computer the date, dollar amount, and signature aren't printing on the check. The check does print the pay to the order name, amount in words, and payee and address.
I went to File / Printer Setup / Check/Paycheck and the signature file is selected.
Thanks!

Hi there, greatscott90.
I'll share with you the troubleshooting steps that can resolve common printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop.
Start by locating the QBPrint.qbp. It's usually saved in these folders:
Then, follow these steps to rename it:
You can also use the Print & PDF Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool Hub just in case the issue persists. This fixes most of the common printing issues.
Let me know if you need anything else.

That worked, thanks!
I am trying to print single checks out using the envelope by-pass. I chose the Center orientation in the Partial Page tab under Check/Paycheck form name under Printer Setup. The single checks continue to print out across the page (Left to Right) instead of down the page (Top to Bottom). I had this problem using Quicken and reached someone over the phone many years ago. It was a simple fix but I don't remember how to do it.
Thank you.
Hello there, @JYoung10. I'm here to lend a hand.
To resolve printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), let’s first try to update your QuickBooks release version.
Once done, let's try aligning your checks:

I made sure that I have the current update. I do. I have the program set for automatic updates.
The problem is not with alignment. The problem is with orientation. Under Settings I am using Standard check style. Under Partial Page, I am using Center so that I can print a single check through the by-pass envelope feeder on my printer. The checks should be printed down the middle instead of across like in portrait. When I put a check in the Center orientation, it still prints out incorrectly.
Hello @JYoung10,
In QuickBooks Desktop, you can download a tool and use its function to fix issues while printing your checks. Let me walk you through the steps on how you can accomplish this.
From here, let the tool run for up to 30 min and restart your desktop once done before upgrading QuickBooks. But if the same error message still pops up, I'd recommend following the Step 4 and 5 instructions outlined in this article: How to Resolve Printing Issues in QuickBooks Desktop?

Need help also, with printing voucher style checks (not payroll); just got a new workstation, running Windows 12, and now my operating account checks don't print properly. Have a current version of Adobe Acrobat, have run the Tool Hub, have tried automatic movement of the Print Setup matrix and manual too, nothing works. The font size and spacing all appear incorrect (see attached actual printed samples). Any suggestions how to get this fixed so I can print checks? Thanks, Jim 1G.

This is so bad, I follow the directions "go to File drop down and select printer setup" that is not available.
When I try to print checks everything is wrong and the alignment feature really does not work. The fact that I have to go through 7 pop up windows and all the pdf stuff is frustrating and it does not work. Another problem is the printer management does not allow me to choose the different paper sources on my printer. Its probably there somewhere but I can not find it. Just hand writing checks for now.

I have a Brother - HL-L3280CDW and it prints the single checks just like you want. However the last time I tried to print a single check, it came out like you described. I tried all kinds of things, but nothing worked. I then uninstalled the printer, rebooted, and then installed the printer again. The printing then returned back to the correct way that it had been. The print was about 1.25" low. I don't remember it starting out so low before. Anyways I went into setting the align in quickbooks and got a message that 125 was too large of a setting and 33 was the largest. I ignored the message and selected to print and it did. So all of the text is aligned correctly.
