Join nowUsing Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021 - We want to offer discount terms for our customers that pay on or before the due date. I know how to set up the terms BUT is there a way to set it that if our customers click the link to pay, and it is on or before the due date, that it automatically shows the discounted balance due?
i.e. We invoice customer for $6500, with terms that allow 10% discount if paid on or before due date. It's due 10/10, the customer clicks the link to pay on 10/06 - we want it to show a balance due of $5850.
Is this possible without any manual override to the invoice total?
Thank you!
I'm here to help share information about the terms for your customer's invoice, @ACD-AK.
As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to customize the terms in an invoice for upfront payments from customers. It's best to manually record the invoice payment based on the actual amount paid by your customers.
I'm adding this article with the reference you can use to make sure your customer's activity and sales transaction is track accordingly: Get Started with Customer Transaction Workflows in QuickBooks Desktop.
If there's anything else that I can help you with aside from recording invoices and payments, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand. Take care and stay safe!
QP Payment doesn't offer such feature. You may find the feature on another payment processor and integrate it with your QB Desktop.
