I entered the current moth end date instead of the last month end date when applying Finance charges to past due accounts. How do I roll these back and apply correctly?

I attempted to do the first customer as you suggested, however the finance charge was not recalculated and is still showing two months of finance charge instead of the one-month charge as it should be. Please advise how to correct this.

Additionally, if the resolve is to void and reapply how do I keep the voided transaction from appearing on statements.

There's no direct way to delete finance charges in bulk, @Asha J. I'll provide additional details and a workaround for this matter.

Currently, we can only delete finance charges for your customers in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) one at a time.

For now, you can ask your accountant for assistance and have them utilize the batch delete transactions in the QBDT Accountant version. You may also look for a third-party application that easily deletes finance charges by batch.

While this option is unavailable, I recommend sending your feedback to our product developers so they can review it and might consider implementing it in the future. Please know that changes are also based on how popular a specific feature request is. Here's how:

  1. Click the Help menu located at the top.
  2. Select Send Feedback Online, then click Product Suggestion.
  3. Type in your feedback or feature request.
  4. Click the Send Feedback button.

Additionally, you can run and customize sales reports in QBDT to gain valuable insights into the items you buy and sell and the status of your inventory.
