We are having a significant issue when trying to create an SO with a lot of items. You can see here, the system keeps timing out: https://www.loom.com/share/0e12159fde994e24a6db667a1577fdcc
I would image other people have a significant amount of items as well. Are others experiencing this problem? Any recommendations?
There are times that local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product, iwalls.
Let’s perform some basic troubleshooting so that you have the option to view the email being sent on the estimate.
Let's go ahead and try signing in to QBO using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues.
Here's how:
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. A specialist can securely look up your account and further investigate the root cause of this issue.
If I can be of any other assistance, don't hesitate to tag my name in the comment section. I'm always here to back you up. Stay safe!
Try opening your QBO account on private/incognito browser.
Anyway, you mentioned Sales Order. There is no SO feature on QBO unless you have an additional app to intergate with your QBO.
We will give this a try. I am not sure this is the issue but I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks for the input. I hope to be in touch soon.
My impression is your solution is basically to remove the cache by doing it in an incognito browser?
Also, I meant Estimate. We just call them Sales Orders.
This solution did not work for us. I have used the incognito window to create Estimates and invoices with several bundle items and QBO will continue to crash once there are more than 25 bundles listed on the estimate. It has taken me days to complete a large estimate because the system will drastically slow down and freeze every few seconds.

There is no solution to this, we've been dealing with estimates and invoices being slow for about 3 years now. We've checked our hardware (our computers have 16-32gb of ram), our network, tried in incognito, cleared our cache, tried different browsers and more. The fact that multiple people are saying the same thing clearly shows that QBO/Quickbooks has an issue that for some reason doesn't seem to be getting fixed.
It's honestly insulting to be told multiple times "have you cleared your cache" when I bring up this issue.
The only true help I've had with QBO is the developers over in India, other than that QBO's help on this and other issue has been terrible. I would go as far as being the worst customer experience I've had to date.
I have lost hope from this being resolved in a timely manner, if at all. You can see what a companies values are by how they all act and communicate, and unfortunately from horrible customer service with Quickbooks to lobbying to make filing taxes harder so that you have to go with the paid version with TurboTax just as a couple of examples, this shows the values of the company is not it's customers.
Years later and still no attempt to correct this issue, Intuit?
Hello there, @33333333.
I'd love to help you achieve your goal, but would you mind sharing more details about it? Like adding a screenshot of the error message when you add the bundle, or are you able to save it if you add less bundles into your transactions ? It can help us get on the same page and provide accurate resolution.
I'll wait for your reply, or if you have any other questions, please let us know. We're always here to help. Have a great day.
