Ohio unemployment q4 2021 e-file issue

Thanks for posting here, @ae205803.

I want to help you out further with your tax filing and e-payment concern for QuickBooks Desktop. For now, I need to gather some information about the hurdle you're into right now. May I know what error message are you getting when trying to submit your tax returns? I need this information to check if there are other customers who reported this issue to our engineers.

In the meantime, we always recommend that you continue working with our Payroll Support, so they can provide further troubleshooting steps. Our representatives have direct access to escalations and they can log program reports to our engineers.

For now, here are some related links about filing and paying taxes in QuickBooks Desktop for your reference and other users in this page:

I'll be waiting for your response for this topic. I'll be right here to help you out with any program tasks you need help with. Have a good day!

Yes, I am having the same problem.  I am using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2019.  My issue is that there is no submit button to e-file this form.  I have been e filing this form for 20 years, and the submit button is now gone.  I only see the print button.

We are having the exact same issue.  I noticed in the payroll update OH Unemployment E file and E pay where removed and then what looked to be updated.  Had to file manually with the state.  Hoping for an solution.

That is all and good for uploading the form on to their site, which their site says it supports 3rd party filing, but you get a recover error trying to make a payment.  I only get the error that boots me out of the system trying to pay the Ohio Unemployment.

File - Utilities - rebuild data fixes this problem

Re-building data does not fix the problem. Ohio has a new website that Intuit has not yet been able to connect with.

I have 3 different companies that all get the unrecoverable error. After installing ALL the updates (both payroll and program... and restarting), the e-file option FINALLY went away altogether under payment methods so that it's not even possible any longer to chose e-file.

Intuit should ALREADY have made a post about this. It's not just this one person having the problem. It's EVERYONE!

After spending 3-4 HOURS on the phone with Intuit, I finally got someone who said that Intuit knows there is an issue with both Ohio and Maryland and that they hope to have it fixed by the Jan 22, 2022. This is due to both of these states getting new websites.

I downloaded all updates and restarted and finally the option for e-file Ohio Unemployment is totally gone which at least lets me see my other e-file payments without the program crashing.
