Online Bill Pay does not work

When I go to Schedule Pay to pay a bill I get a screen "A New approach to pay bills is coming soon...."   Only options are close or back.  There seems to be no way to do online bill paying

I saw the same issue happen to other users here today. Sign up for a separate Melio account for free to integrate with QBO as a workaround.

Online Bill Pay does not work

I have the same issue, I understand that there is a 3rd party Melio method to pay but I prefer to understand when QBO Bill Pay will work again. Instead of integrating another service, I would just send a wire instead but it would be great if we could get an answer from QBO on this.

Thank you for informing us here of the error you received while processing an online bill payment. Let's check to find out the cause and resolve it.

 

To start, you'll want to sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser and schedule a payment. Private browsing does not reuse cached data. Therefore, QuickBooks pages will load fresh information straight from Intuit’s server.

 

Shortcut keys to open a private browser:

 

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For MS Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, press Shift + ⌘ + N

 

If you won't receive the same error while browsing privately, you'll want to go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. However, if it's the same thing, you'll want to use a different browser to isolate the issue.

Online Bill Pay does not work

THIS DOES NOT WORK. I just spent way too long on support opening browsers, clearing cache etc. It is clearly an issue on QBO part and it need to be fixed immediately.  

I cannot even look at my payment history.

Please escalate this issue to a higher tier support specialist.

I understand the inconvenience you're experiencing while trying to pay your bills in an incognito window. As initial steps to get this work, you can use other compatible browsers as advised by my colleague. Here are the lists of supported browsers in QBO.

 

  • Google Chrome: version 78 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox: version 76 or newer. 
  • Microsoft Edge: version 79 or newer
  • Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only).
  • Opera: version 68 or newer
  • Samsung: version 10 or newer

 

If it does not resolve the issue, I suggest contacting Melio support for further assistance. Melio support will be able to provide specialized guidance and help you overcome the problem so that you can complete your bill payments. Their team is experienced in addressing technical concerns and can offer personalized solutions.

 

To reach Melio support, go to their official website and access the Contact section. There, you will find various options such as live chat, email, or a helpline to get in touch with their dedicated support team. Make sure to provide them with detailed information about the issue, including the splash message you're encountering, for more effective assistance.

 

In the meantime, I recommend signing in directly to the Melio website  to make your scheduled payment.

Online Bill Pay does not work

This is NOT a problem with Melio.  Quickbooks Online is displaying the message I attached (it's an app.qbo webpage).  The issue is that QBO no longer redirects to Melio like it used to.

 

Setting up a Melio Account is also NOT an option.    I do all my bill payments from QBO with Bill Pay....doing things separately in Melio will create a HUGE amount of extra work.

 

This is a BUG with QBO that needs to be fixed.

 

Please escalate this issue to the appropriate parties.

I wish I could. Not only am I two hours from my office, but the USPS just issued a warning NOT to mail checks as theft is on the rise.

Not a fix but a way inside!

 

In a bill, click upper right 'schedule online payment'. Online bill pay opens and I click ACH. Then a calendar asking when I want the payment delivered with $20 for FedEx and $1.50 for USPS to deliver. Odd. ACH is bank to bank and free. There is not a free option here.

 

I am not going further. Weird. Wanted to share.

This funchtion, Online Billpay by Melio in QuickBooks is not working as of today. It is just not there.Could someonen from QuickBooks check this out and give us an estimated time it may be up and running again.
