When processing payments using QuickBooks, a fee is applied to each transaction. The amount varies depending on the payment type. If it's swiped, the fee is 2.5%. If it's invoiced, the fee is 2.9%. If it's keyed in, the fee is 3.5%. Additionally, ACH payments incur a 1% fee for each transaction.
