Why can't I add money to quickbook checking

Are you seeing an error message, is a button or option missing or grayed out, or is your deposit not appearing after you've submitted it? If you're trying to deposit physical cash, please note that you cannot deposit cash directly into QuickBooks Checking at an ATM or retail store, even though it uses the Green Dot network. You must first deposit the cash into a traditional external bank account and then transfer it into QuickBooks Checking digitally. Typically, this transfer process takes about three business days.

 

If you just linked your bank account, you usually can't move money yet. QuickBooks sends two "micro-deposits" (usually a few cents) to your external bank to verify ownership. Please verify your bank first to enable transfers.

 

If the Deposit Check button is missing or grayed out, it may indicate that this feature is not available based on your account's status and transaction history. If you're new to QuickBooks or have had recent payment issues, this feature might be temporarily unavailable.
