How turn off billable rates in contractor timesheets?

From everything I've read, QuickBooks time is still a mess.  My question is this:

When a Timesheet Only contractor logs in to enter their time, they choose client and service.  The screen, however, shows them the billable rate for every service.  That should not be enabled by default!  How, please, do I hide it from contractor view?

Thank you,

John

How turn off billable rates in contractor timesheets?

We can toggle off the Make expenses and item billable option from your settings to ensure that your contractor won't see their billable rate, @jross1801. Allow me to help you in accomplishing this.

To ensure you can manage what your contractor can see when entering their timesheet, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then Accounts and settings.
  3. Head to the Expense tab.
  4. From the Bills and expenses section, click the pencil icon to edit.
  5. Next, toggle off the Make expenses and item billable.
  6. Click Save and Done.

Afterwards, once your contractor adds their own time, they won't be able to see the billable rate for the services.
