When I enter employee's time into QT, I also need to designate the worker's comp code they worked under. This particular client is a construction company so they can work on 3-4 difference codes a day. I initially put it as a Service Item but it didn't track over and keep record of it.

Currently, the option to designate the worker's comp code when entering employees' time into QuickBooks Time is unavailable. For now, I'd suggest entering the code on your notes or service items for viewing purposes.
In case you're using the QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced subscriptions, you can utilize the class tracking feature as well.
