Join nowI am trying to print my 1099-NEC for 2022. The 1099 preview shows the correct 2022 amount (2021 amount was different), but the preview shows the year as 2021. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi there, @AmySlank.
I'm thrilled to hear that my colleague @MJoy_D was able to answer your query about preparing and printing a payroll form specifically your 1099-NEC for 2022.
If you require any additional assistance with preparing and printing any payroll forms, you can always post them here in the Community. Have a wonderful day!
YES, I AM AND WHEN I CHANGE IT TO THE 2022 IT GIVES ME AN ERROR MESSAGE AND BOOTS ME OUT. WE MAY HAVE TO WAIT TILL IT IS ACTUALLY 2023 TO DO THEM. THIS IS RIDUCULOUS AND THEY NEED TO BE MOVED TO THE RIGHT. WHERE IS THE ADJUSTMENT THAT USED TO BE ON QB FOR MOVING THE WRITING OVER TO FIT THE 1099 ON A INKJET PRINTER. NO ONE USES THE OLD PRINTERS.
I have tried all of the steps, verified that QB Desktop is on current version, and still cannot get dates for 1099s to advance to 2022.

Come back to this post and let me know how the call goes, @kcsllc. I want to ensure you're taken care of.
I received a confirmation e-mail on 1/6/2023 after selecting E-File for my 1099s. The e-mail stated that my 1099s were submitted to the IRS but my confirmation e-mail states it is for year 2021. Here is a copy of part of the e-mail
"Congratulations! The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has accepted 1099-NEC forms for the period 2021 for _____
You don't need to take any further action with the IRS unless you need to file additional 1099-NEC forms.
Thank you for choosing Intuit 1099 E-File Service. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
Sincerely,
The Intuit 1099 E-File Service Support Team"
How can I verify that Quickbooks actually sent the 2022 forms to the IRS? And, get a new confirmation email?
Hi there, @TTCI. I want to ensure this will be taken care of.
Thanks for posting here and for sharing detailed information about your Form 1099 concern. To further verify that QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) sent the 2022 forms to the IRS, I recommend reaching out to our Payroll support team. They use specific tools to pull up your account an confirm the status of the file. Here's how:
On the other hand, you can also access your Payroll Account Management portal to check that you have the correct address on file. This may be the reason you're not receiving email notifications from IRS.
It's also recommended to ensure that you have the latest payroll update to get the most current and accurate rates and calculations for payroll tax tables.
Also, viewing your payroll tax payments and forms in QBDT is a breeze. For detailed instructions, please read this article: Access payroll tax forms and tax payments.
If you have any other concerns about the status of 1099 forms in QBDT, please don't hesitate to post them again here. I'll be always around to assist you. Have a good day ahead.
