Anyone having issues with the bill pay app? Every time I try to use it, I get a message saying "app01.us.bill.com refused to connect." Bill.com says it's an Intuit issue?

Try opening your QBO account on private/incognito browser. Another option, open a separate Melio account for free to isolate the issue.

As mentioned by Fiat Lux - ASIA, you can try accessing your account in an incognito or private window. There are times that the accumulated cache in your browser triggers runtime errors in QuickBooks Online. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

Once you're in try opening the Bill Pay app. If the error is now gone, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to delete the stored temporary internet files. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

@KlentB I tried going incognito...and received the following message:

Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online isn't working right now. We're on it; please try again soon.

 

So is this an Intuit issue or a Bill.com issue?  Bill.com says it's Intuit...any other suggestions?

To help us determine the reason for the message you're getting, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Support Team. They have the tools to investigate this further and help troubleshoot it for you.

 

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Click on Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Select the Search tab.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of the issue in the What can we help you with? box.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Choose either to Chat or Get a callback.
