I'm glad to see you here in the Community, @orbiteers1.
The option to add the pay now button to statements is currently unavailable. You can only enable it to invoices. To do so, you have to link your Payments account to QuickBooks. If you don't have one, you'll need to sign up for QuickBooks Online Payments.
Then, here's how to turn on and send online invoices:
For more info about this process, please see this link: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online.

Intuit, PLEASE enable "pay now" buttons with emailed statements!
YES! please add this feature and be sure to add it to desktop as well. It is not at all unusual for businesses to generate many invoices per month and then have payment made on the total balance. It's also especially helpful when the statement is being used as a reminder of a cumulative balance due. If payment cannot be made from the statement each outstanding invoice would need to be resent individually in order to have access to the "pay now" button. Here's hoping this feature is added soon!
Yes, please. It looks so unprofessional to ask a big company to pay each invoice separately.
You may need a 3rd party payment processor and a connector for QBO as a workaround.
Please add a pay now button to statements. It is so unprofessional to send many invoices for payment vs 1 statement.
Karen
Any update from QuickBooks on the multiple requests to add a "pay now" button to statements? Sending "reminders" to customers with multiple overdue invoices is very confusing for the customer.
Thanks for joining the thread, @PoppyFWC.
I'll provide some updates about the Pay Now button and send reminders features on statements.
Right now, the option to add the features is still unavailable. It can only be enabled for bills. You must link your Payments account to QuickBooks in order to do so. You'll need to join up for QuickBooks Online Payments if you don't have one yet.
Then, here's how you can turn on and send online invoices:
In addition to that. you can visit the Intuit Marketplace. From there, you can review available applications you can integrate with QuickBooks to have the features you want.
Also, you can send feedback to have the pay now button and send reminders feature to be added to QuickBooks. That would be a great addition to the app's current functionality.

Hello, please add the ability for customers to pay multiple invoices at once. It is ridiculous to make a customer process multiple invoices on net terms accounts.
While you're at it, add a feature to make credit card payments optional to customers with an added percentage processing fee.
Super unprofessional to make a big corporate customer with multiple invoices pay each invoice separately. C'mon QBO, this is basic, add a payment link for a statement. I'm embarrassed to tell my customers I don't have this option. I will let them know it is QBO, not me.
Thanks for keeping in touch, JFresh305.
I can only imagine how the option to allow customers to pay multiple invoices at once gives you and your customer convenience. We'll also be taking note of your request on adding the feature that makes credit card payments optional to customers.

QB Payment doesn't offer such feature. Consider having a 3rd party merchant service to do so.
I invoice one client several times a month for materials and services - I also send them a statement, but Quickbooks online STILL DOES NOT allow my customers to pay from their statement, they have to pay one item at a time.
Why has this not been added to quickbooks yet? its 2023 and some QBO customer have been asking for this for years.
Hello, Brent.
I, for one, would also like to have the option to pay my dues from a statement since it saves me time and clicks. I can see the benefit of this option for you and your customers.
It may still be in the works, or our developers are reconsidering adding the payment links for statements. To be transparent, I'm unable to check the complete roadmap or timeline for this feature.
So, in the meantime, I would suggest sending feedback if you haven't done it yet.
Click the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
For now, we'll want to send those invoices one at a time so your customers would able to pay their dues timely.

What about generating a pay now link using "Payment Links" as a workaround? You can copy the link and paste it into the body of the statement email.
Is there still no option for clients to pay their statement balance? They have to click each invoice individually?
Hello there, @motiv8dtrainer. I'm here with some updates about receiving payments from clients in QuickBooks Online.
For the time being, the ability to have the clients pay their statement balances in QuickBooks Online is unavailable. That being said, we need to go through each invoice to have them pay their payables. I actually think that it's a great idea and would also like to have this feature as this will surely save not just your time, but other users as well who've been wanting to finally utilize this.
To further the request for this feature, I'd suggest sending a request to our Product Developers if you haven't, so this will be taken into consideration in future updates.
Here's how:
