Hello,
The certified payroll report is not pulling the data into the excel file. Help!
I'm here to make sure you're able to pull up the data into Excel, @lpurcell.
It is possible that you already exceed the limit. Due to Microsoft Excel 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013 limits, this Excel report export feature has a limit of 65,536 detail lines.
If you exceed this limit you would have to upgrade to Excel 2015 or 2016 and try the following workaround

I am having the same problem. After updating to QB 22.0 the certified payroll report is gone. Please help!
Good day, @Berenice 1.
Thanks for joining this conversation. Allow me to chime in and help make sure you're able to pull up the Certified Payroll report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
If you already followed the steps shared by my colleague above and the issue persists, let's run the QuickBooks built-in diagnostic and repair tools called rebuild and verify data utilities. These tools will repair and notify you of any possible data damage within the file.
Here's how:
If QB detected no problem with your data, hit OK. However, if it finds an issue, you will be prompted to Rebuild Now or View Errors. Choose Close, then perform the steps below.
Here's how:
For additional information about the process, consider checking out this article: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

Rebuilding the company file will not change the reports that appear on the QuickBooks menu.
Problems with a company file do not change the contents of the QuickBooks menu.
This happens every time you upgrade because not all of the payroll reports are initially installed.
After you get payroll updates successfully and then restart QuickBooks the additional reports will appear.
I am having issues with the certified payroll reports not pulling all the data from the timesheet entry screen into the excel file. The error seems to consistently be with just a handful of employees, but is a very frustrating and time consuming process to manually correct. I have called QB support for assistance, done a file rebuild, reloaded my excel but nothing corrects this problem. This issue began when we updated the software to QB Enterprise Contractor 22.0

I have contacted your support team and have a case #1572878865. They were unable to resolve and had me contact my IT group and uninstall/reinstall my Excel programs. I will reach out to your support again tomorrow, but do not have much confidence this matter will be resolved. That's why I was reaching out to the community to see if anyone else was experiencing the same issue.
Not trying to be negative, but just don't have much hope as I'm still waiting for resolution to an open issue with your support group for over 2 years - Error message: QB_Payroll_Link.xlt.

We are having issues with certified payroll that have made us scratch our heads. The jobs that we are trying to run suddenly drop off the job list drop down menu while running the certified program. This causes an issue for us as we need to run the report even if we didn't have any work on that job that week. We don't understand why we can run the report just fine and then the next week the job doesn't show up on the job list.
Is anyone else having this issue or had this issue before and if so how did you fix it? If we can't get it fixed we will be forced to purchasing a certified payroll program to run our report.

I am trying to create a certified payroll report, so I have been opening that, not the SUI. I finally figured out how to open the SUI and finished the trust center settings to enable macros and that finally worked! Yay, thank you!
