Control over Management Reports circulation

There is a Management Reports that was created by me in QBOA.

What I notice is that it automatically circulates via email on 1st of the month every month for the preceding YTD. QBO auto sent to an email to which once the report was sent in the past. There is no way to control this. How can one control when and whether to send these reports? There must be some control. At the moment QBO does this automatically and I don’t want it to circulate when it feels like.

Help.

Control over Management Reports circulation

Welcome back to the Community, @HAM9.

The one you've created may be a scheduled report causing it to be sent every month. If this is the case, you need to delete and recreate that specific Management Report.

Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA), go to the Reports menu at the left pane to get to the Management reports page.
  2. Locate the specific report, then click the drop-down arrow beside View under the Action column.
  3. Choose Delete in the drop-down, then hit Yes to confirm.

Once done, you can now recreate it. Refer to this article for more information: How to Create a Management Report: Different Kinds, Editing & More.

To get an overview of this feature, consider checking out this article: Management Reports Overview.

Control over Management Reports circulation

@FritzF There is no place I see that it asks for scheduling so where is that setting? I don't recall any such setting. Where is it that causes of to auto generate?

Control over Management Reports circulation

Thanks for getting back, @HAM9.

I appreciate you for following the steps provided by my peer above. Allow me to share some information about Management Reports circulation.

It's possible that you add your email address when creating the management report. As mentioned by my colleague above, you'll need to delete and recreate that specific Management Report to fix this. From there, let's make sure you will not include your email.

For more detailed steps to recreate Management Report, you can check out this article: How to Create a Management Report: Different Kinds, Editing & More.
