I'll share some information about identifying suspicious emails, elisa.
Suspicious emails can be an attempt to trick you into revealing your personal information. These fraudulent schemes can take various forms and may appear quite convincing. If you're uncertain about the authenticity of an email claiming to be from Intuit, here are some indicators to watch out for:
- We’ll never ask for your personal info in an email.
- Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com. It includes @e.intuit.com.
- Any link we send you in an email will always be for an intuit.com address.
Since the email you've received is suspicious, let's go to the Intuit Online Security Center page and then scroll down to the Go to security notices section to verify if this is already reported.
Otherwise, select Report a suspicious email to file a report. For visual reference, I've added a screenshot below.

Meanwhile, payments are reviewed periodically to ensure their accuracy and legitimacy. If the funds take longer to deposit, they may be on hold. To verify this, you can check its status by following these steps:
- Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
- From the homepage, select Activities & Reports and click Deposits.
- Choose the date range in the Dates field.
- Click Search.
If an issue occurs, you'll see Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned in the Status column. Click the drop-down arrow in the Fee column to review its details. You'll also receive an email with steps to fix the issue.
You can also contact our QuickBooks Payments Support to verify the cause of the delayed deposit.
Additionally, I've added these articles that'll help you learn more about the ways to avoid customer support scams and prevent any fraudulent activities:
