WHY IN THE HELL IT QUICKBOOKS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST BUSINESS THAT DEAL IN FIREARMS. I WAS JUST TOLD THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS MY PAYMENTS DUE TO MY BUSINESS TYPE!

Hello,

I can understand your frustration.  Here is a link to the "INTUIT PAYMENTS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY"  https://quickbooks.intuit.com/payments/legal/TOC102017/acceptable-use/

It isn't just firearms.  There are many business types/services that are not eligible to use Intuit as a payment processing service because of various reasons.

There are other payment processing services that will integrate with QuickBooks Online and allow you to download the transactions into QuickBooks Online seamlessly.

What other payment processor services will integrate into QuickBooks Online as you said? I can find no method or reference to such 3rd party services in the documentation, so I must be missing something

Hello there, @TexasGuy.

I appreciate you for getting back to us here in the Community. Let me share additional information about processing payments in QuickBooks Online.

Right now, firearms and weapons sales are part of the prohibited activities and business types for QuickBooks payments. Since we can't suggest a specific third-party app you can use, I suggest visiting our Intuit Apps Center.

By going to this section, you'll be able to view the list of apps integrated with our program. In case you need the steps, here's how:

  1. Log into your QuickBooks account.
  2. On the left navigation bar, click Apps.
  3. Go to the Find Apps tab.
  4. Use the search bar or press the Browser category drop-down to find integrated third-party apps.

Additionally, I recommend the following resource which contains the details about an unacceptable business: Unacceptable business types for processing a payment.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be happy to help you some more.

Did you ever get this resolved? We dont sell weapons but some parts from manufacture to Police departments and Military. I checked the list, did some googling and read some articles on the CEO, he is a Democrat- it would appear this is about what we sell and QBs trying to push an agenda. WE have been a customer for 12 years.
