How can I change my payment method?

Let’s get the payment method changed, @kostakah.


Can you tell me which area you’re trying to update? There’s your QBO subscription, customer’s ways to pay a transaction, and vendor payments.


If it’s for a QuickBooks account, please note that only the Master or Company Administrator can change the billing information. Here’s how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Gear icon and pick Account and Settings
  2. Tap the Billing & Subscription tab, and then click the pencil icon in the Payment Method section.
  3. Fill out the Payment Information window and select the box that authorizes the payment.
  4. Hit Save to record the changes.

When it comes to customer's payment options, set or edit this up through the Lists window. Follow these steps:

  1. From the Gear icon, choose All Lists.
  2. Click Payment Methods on the Lists page.
  3. Look for the payment method you wish to update, and then tap the drop-down arrow in the Action column to select Edit.
  4. Update the details and hit Save.
