How can I create a, "Delayed Charge" using the online app?

Hello there, @06.

Allow me to share some insights about creating delayed charges in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Currently, the ability to create delayed charges using the mobile device is unavailable in QBO. It's only available in the web browser.

In the meantime, if you're using the QuickBooks Online (QBO) App windows, it allows you to keep track of items to be billed to clients in the future.

Here's how:

  1. Gp to the +New icon.
  2. Under Customers, choose the Delayed Charge.
  3. Enter the information need
  4. Click Save and Close, or Save and New.

You can check this step-by-step guide to learn more about entering a delayed charge: How to Enter Delayed Charge Invoices in QuickBooks.

Feel free to post here in the Community, in case you have additional queries. I'll be sure to get back to you.

How can I create a, "Delayed Charge" using the online app?

Is there any progress on being able to create delayed charges for each customer using the QBO mobile app on a phone or tablet? I have a pool service business as a client that needs this feature.

If not, is there another integrated QBO app that does this or should I recommend that his pool service staff carry a laptop to connect to QBO using a web browser to create delayed charges during their routes?

Great to see you in the Community, @seancallow. I'm here to share updates with the Delayed Charge transaction option on QuickBooks Online (QBO) App on mobile.

Currently, the option to enter Delayed Charge in QBO App on mobile is unavailable. It's only available on the QBO website.

However, you can still log on to the QBO website on any device that has a browser application. I've included this reference for more information about delayed charges: Create and apply credit memos or delayed credits in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, I see that this will benefit other users as well. I'd suggest sending a suggestion by clicking on the Gear icon and choosing Feedback.

If you have other questions about delayed charges, feel free to comment below. I'm here to lend a helping hand.
