How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks? I am using QB for Mac 2015 v16.1 12 R13 and cannot figure out how to have to print our company name and address on our voucher checks. We have entered the company information under Preferences --> General --> My Company but cannot find any box to check to have the program print that information on the check.  Can anyone provide any suggestions?  Thanks.

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

Hello there, bcriswell.

The File menu can be seen using QuickBooks Desktop. Since you're using QuickBooks Online, you can follow the steps below if you're trying to print vendor checks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Expenses menu.
  2. In the Vendors tab, find and click the vendor's name.
  3. Select Edit at the upper-right corner.
  4. On the Print on check as field, make sure to uncheck the Use display name box and enter the company name.
  5. Then, click Save

Then, open the check and click Print check at the bottom part of the page:

If you're referring to a paycheck, that name is based on the company's information. We can double-check your setting and make sure to add and correct the company information. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings
  3. In the Company. Click the Company name section. Make sure the company's name is correct.
  4. Click Save. Then, Done.

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

Hello,

I believe you are misunderstanding me. I am simply trying to print my company's name and address on my checks in which I pay to vendors. I'd like to print our company info in the top left hand corner. I am using QB Online

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

You can order checks that have your company information, bcriswell.

QuickBooks prints on preprinted checks. You can print using your own checks, but they need to be formatted for compatibility of QuickBooks or you can order compatible checks from us. From the link I attached, you'll know the features and the type of checks that best fit your business preference. Just click on Get started and follow the onscreen instructions on how to order.

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

Hello burlingtonheating!

Let me help you in printing your checks.

In QuickBooks Online, the only way to include the business info such as address is by using a pre-printed check. These are designed to work seamlessly with QuickBooks Online and other Intuit products. You can order through our IntuitMarket site.

You'll want to browse these articles. These will give you more info about printing checks in QuickBooks Online:

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

So are you saying that my blank checks I purchased at a store cannot have my company name in the corner?  I can't even get a signature line!

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

Hello, jolene12.

Welcome to the Community. If you're using QuickBooks Desktop, you can print the company address and electronic signature on blank checks. Simply visit our Apps Center and choose a program which can be integrated into QuickBooks Desktop for managing and printing blank paper checks.

Next, let me show you how to create an electronic signature by following these steps:

  1. Write your signature on a piece of paper.
  2. Scan and save the image in the correct file format: BMP, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF.

After that, you'll need to select both Print company name and address and Print Signature Image on the Print Checks window

Here's how:

  1. From the File menu, select Printer Setup.
  2. In the Form Name drop-down list, select Check/Paycheck.
  3. Put a check mark on Print company name and address and Print Signature Image.
  4. In the Signature dialog box, choose File.
  5. Select the graphics file that contains the signature then click Open.
  6. Click OK in the Signature dialog box.
  7. Tap OK in the Printer Setup dialog box.

However, If you referring for QuickBooks Online, we're unable to include the company address, and signature on a check in QuickBooks Online. You can consider purchasing pre-printed checks in the QuickBooks Checks & Supplies page for this matter.

You can visit them through this link: QuickBooks Checks & Supplies.

For future reference, I've also included this link to know more details about ordering checks, tax forms, and other supplies.

Please know that I'll be always here to help you if you have any other questions about printing checks, just add a post/comment below. Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe!

How Can I Print Our Company Name on Checks?

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! I have 6 entities and I'll have to order 6 different check stocks, each with their own pre-printed company name/info on it?! Quickbooks is supposed to make things more streamlined and efficient and this is definitely NOT.

Here to add my tally to the wall.

Using QBO, operating several different entities, and often change addresses.

We have purchased standard stock checks without our business name and address on them so we can easily flex with these tough times. Xero was perfectly capable of handling this, while QBO cannot. We just switched to QBO and this is a big downfall. We have invested in stock checks that purposefully do not have business names and addresses on them, just to be handicapped by our CHOICE of accounting software.

Disappointed,

Another Andrew
