How do I edit check printing layout? Need to move down pay to address two lines ?

Thanks for posting in the Community, @scholink

Let's go to the Fine-tune alignment page so you can adjust the layout when printing checks. This lets you move down the pay to address to two lines. You'll first have to make sure the Adobe Reader is updated. This is the default program used by QuickBooks to print forms correctly. Then, proceed to the following steps:

  1. Select the + New button from the left menu.
  2. Choose Print Checks.
  3. Click Print setup at the bottom of the page.
  4. Select the appropriate check type.
  5. Choose No, continue setup beside Are the fields lined up properly? at the bottom of the page.
  6. Click No, continue setup again.
  7. Drag the grid inside the large square to the place where it appears on your printout. The software will figure out how to adjust the alignment.
  8. Make the necessary adjustments and click View and print sample to see if the check is printing correctly.
  9. Click Finish setup if everything is good to go.

The screenshot below shows you the last three steps. For detailed instructions, go through this article: Align How Your Checks Print

In case you're printing other sales forms, I'd suggest visiting this website: Print Forms. This link provides you the steps on how to set up, adjust, or check the printing alignment for the forms.

I'm just around to help if you have other concerns. Have a great day, @scholink
