As of yesterday, the register in 3 of my Quickbooks 2019 accounts became too large (Long ways) to fit the screen. I do not have online Quickbooks. It fills the entire screen plus I am unable to see the last line on the register or see the "Record" to save an entry. The register will not shrink down from the bottom or top. I can, however, arrow it to be smaller on the left and right sides.
I have a total of 7 Quickbook accounts. Three of them are having this problem. When I open these 3 account registers, it lists the last 25 checks. When I open the other 4 (that fit the screen fine), they open up showing the last 19 checks. They are all using the same font, so I think the problem is that the number of previous check is 25 instead of 19, which makes the register too long, so I can see the last check, or the "record" button.
I hope you can understand the situation and help me.
I've got some troubleshooting steps we can perform to fit the register window in QuickBooks, Sue1093.
We can change your default settings in QuickBooks Desktop to resolve a strangely sized Register window. Before adjusting any Windows settings, let's change first your display and view preferences in QuickBooks. Let me show you how:
Then, open QuickBooks and access the account registers to see if there's a display issue. If the same thing happens, proceed to Step 2 in the Fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop article to troubleshoot the issue. If the problem persists, I'd suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.
