HubSpot Integration - Invoice task auto assigning users

Our HubSpot integration is automatically assigning our Master Admin as the user for the invoice task that is created. How do we change to default user this task is assigned to?

Since we're talking about a third-party app and how you can assign a different user to work with it, I suggest you contact Hubspot Technical Support for assistance. 

 

You can refer to this Hubspot page in our QuickBooks Apps Store. It contains their contact information, as well as a link for a quick guide on how you can use Hubspot in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I contacted HubSpot support first and they said the task assignment is with Quickbooks. The integration with HubSpot it working correctly. The question we have is once it comes into QBO, the task that HubSpot creates is automatically assigned to our Master Admin. We do not want that task assigned to that user, but to a different user. How do we set the default assigned user to someone else?

When connecting a third-party app in QuickBooks Online (QBO), only the Master Admin can manage the apps. That is the reason why the task defaults to them. Right now, the option to change the user to the other to perform tasks is unavailable. 

 

We recognize that each company has unique needs, and I can see how these features would benefit and empower your business. Since the feature you're looking for isn't currently an option, I encourage you to submit feedback to our Product Development Team. They look through submitted feedback for future updates and use those suggestions to develop changes for the product.

Just wanted to add in that we also contacted Quickbooks about this and even after changing our master admin to the person we wanted to get notified about this, the previous person who was our master admin still gets assigned the tasks. We've disconnected and reconnected the app and it still does it. They never responded to me when I told them this.

I want to make sure you're getting the right support about invoice tasks are auto-assigning users in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
