Hi there, @director9.
You're already on the right path in checking the "families" account settings to ensure the Bill with parent option is selected. This will allow you to have both the parent and sub-customer charges show up on the invoice. Allow me to add some additional steps to make sure all the necessary details are captured.
Another reason is how the Receive Payment page is filtered. To get the invoice show once the family (parent customer) is selected, let's make sure no filter is turned on in this section.
Here's how:
- Go to the + New button, then select Receive payment.
- From Customer drop-down, select the parent customer.
- Scroll down the page to the Outstanding Transactions. If you see Clear filter / View All, click the link to remove all the filters available.
If there's no filter, let's use the search function. Enter the invoice number in the search box (Find Invoice No.) and look for the transaction that matches it.
If you get the same result, it's recommended to clear the cache and cookies to fix it. Doing this removes the temporary files, and it resets to its default state. Cache and Intuit-specific cookies tend to hold onto information, and over time can cause problems in your web pages.
