Let's run some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue, Xmobile.
To start with, let's open QuickBooks on a private window. It is the first step to determine any browser-related issues. You can use these keyboard keys to open one:
If it works, we may go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the opened pages.
We can also switch to a different supported browser as alternative.
I've also included this article for more information about recurring transaction: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.
I'll be around if there's anything that I can help. Take care!
Thanks for the suggestions, I had already cleared the cache on Chrome. However I took your advice, went Incognito on Chrome - had the same problem. Went through the same steps in Edge - same result. Reviewed all the steps in the Recurring Invoice link - same result. The activity is this - when I hit "Use" it keeps giving me the OLD info. However, if I hit "Edit" the Template has retained my changes. So - its almost like its looking at 2 Templates. The problem is, if I want to "Use" one its the wrong version. Other thoughts?
I'll point you in the right direction, @Xmobile.
I appreciate you for following the troubleshooting steps presented by my colleague above to isolate the problem. Currently, we have an open investigation about info in recurring template not populating when using the template to create a new transaction in QuickBooks Online.
In line with this, you may consider contacting our support team. They can add your account to the list of affected users. This way, you'll get a notification of its status and once it's fixed.
Here's how:

While the problem (bug?) remains, I have discovered a workaround. If I go into Customers and change the info there, it populates the Template automatically. That still doesn't explain why changes made directly to the Template and saved under Recurring Transactions don't remain. The changes show if you hit Edit but the old info remains if you hit Use. Would love an update when that's fixed.
