Hi there, userprestonhendu.
I know how important for your business to have the partial payment post into your account sooner. Let me share some information on why the deposit is not showing up.
For customers’ who are new to the service, the first deposit may take longer (within 5 business days). This is because we’re setting up everything for you.
Also, the deposit speed can affect how long it takes to get the payments you process for each product. Let’s go to the Payments tab to check it.
Here’s how:
The funding time varies depending on the mode of payment your customer uses. Credit card payments are posted in your account 2-3 business days, while a bank transfer can take up to 5 business days.
You can go to the Merchant Service Center to see when a deposit was made. Go to the For QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Point of Sale, and GoPayments section in this article for detailed steps: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
I'm also adding a guide that contains answers to frequently asked questions about QuickBooks Payments: Common questions about payments deposits in QuickBooks Online.
Keep in touch if you have any other QuickBooks concerns or clarifications. I’m only a few clicks away for help. Have a good one.
