Hello there, luc1.
Allow me to provide information about why your deposit is on hold. Rest assured, your deposits and payments are secured with QuickBooks Payments.
Your deposit is on hold because our Risk Management Team periodically reviews payments to ensure everything is right. This way, everyone involved in the process is safe and secure. You should get a message at the email address used to sign in to the Merchant Service Center with steps to fix any issues. If you can't find it, check your spam messages. However, if you didn't receive one, I recommend contacting support. They can investigate your concern further in a safe environment.
Check this article out for the complete guide on contacting Payments support: Contact Payments Support.

Keep in touch if you have further concerns about your deposits in QuickBooks. I'm just one post away.
@luc1 Don't let anyone fool you. Your money is being held because Intuit/ QB makes money by holding your money. If you use the Search bar at the top of any page here in the community, you will find a HUGE number of QB customers with the same issue. Including not ever receiving an email. Some get their money released within a week. Others a month or 2. Then there are those that NEVER get their money released, and have to wait almost a year, just to have to turn and collect it from their state.
It is recommended that you file complaints EVERYWHERE you can think of. The FTC, BBB, your states Attorney General, and Consumer Financial Protection Agency. EVERYWHERE!
Good luck!!
I'm having the same issue. It's been over 7 days and they still have no supervisors or an explination. I haven't received an email and all the account says is check my email. When you call they tell you it will take 24-48 and they will "submit a request with no guarantees". Buyer Beware.

This is the exact same thing that is happening to me. Funds been on hold since the 27th. Ive called everyday and they say "We will have someone call you within 24 hours". This has yet to happen. I cannnnnnot wait to get these funds so that I can be done with QB for good. HORRRIBLE. Then yesterday, I called back wondering why I am not getting a call from them and I requested to speak with a manager, the guy placed me on hold for 34 minutes and then came back and said "They all left for the day". Ive been with them for the past few years doing the same line of work and just randomly they want to make sure "we are safe"??? YES we are safe and we have been safe for the past few years. I can see holding funds for a new client of QB but when you have people who have been using your services for the past few years then this does not make sense. I need my money
Yeah I completely understand they’ve held my money for 3 weeks now and I’m talking huge money 88,000.00!! I will stop at nothing to get this money! I need to find out how to start legal proceedings because they just keep giving me same bull excuses everyday when I call. Someone who has experienced this and got it taken care of please help and give me some advice. I’m desperate at this point! These people are we crooked as it gets
Managers don't take to anyone on the phone.
i'm experiencing this now and this is frustrating! i've emailed the CEO and chief of customer care. This is absolutely ridiculous.
I too have been having this issue since 11/27. I have had them since 2009 with no issues ever. I have had to open over 6 resolution tickets. I've talked to over 5 people, all who claim they entered the collection case correctly only to find out the did not after waiting 24-48 hours to follow up. They currently have 18k of my money on HOLD. I sent my ID. They asked for my husbands. I sent his. They asked for a selfie of him holding his ID so i sent that. I got some money released on 12/20 only to have it held again starting 12/27. There is no one you can talk to that actually knows what is going on or WHY it's happening. They also don't know how to fix it. Crooked'
I disagree. I’ve had Quickbooks over a year with deposits several times a month. Quickbooks takes 5-7 days to deposit EVERY SINGLE DEPOSIT. At this point I think it’s to collect interest on everyone’s funds. There is no other rationale. Also, my deposits are from the same source every time as well. It’s very frustrating.
I’m on the same boat now what did you all do to get your money?
