Hello there, @VoiceMan.

I'm here to share some steps to find your invoices and bills in your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

First, search your transactions to see if they will appear. If they do, you can run the Verify and Rebuild tool to help identify if this is a data integrity problem.

Here's how:

  1. Select File, then select Utilities.
  2. Select Verify Data, then select OK to close all windows.
  3. If you see “Your data has failed the integrity check,” you need to rebuild your file to fix any errors or data damage that's found.
  4. Select File, then select Utilities.
  5. Select Rebuild Data, then select OK to close all windows.
  6. QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before rebuilding your company file, select OK. If you don’t want to do a backup, select Cancel to continue rebuilding your company file.
  7.    a. If you haven’t set up any backup preferences, QuickBooks will ask you to update
  8.      them. Select Backup Preferences and edit as needed, then select OK.
  9.    b. When the backup's finished, select Show in Finder to locate the backup or select OK if you’re done.
  10. Once the rebuild is finished, select OK.

If you can't see them on your screen, you'll need to adjust your screen display.

Moreover, I'm adding this article as your reference in emailing your sales forms in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac: Email sales forms, invoices, and statements in QuickBooks Desktop.

Thank you for the info. I followed your instructions to no avail. The entries in both invoices and bills to pay do not show up enough to see those entries, Barley visible if at all.

Run Verify/Rebuild Data utility. Did you encounter any error message?

Which MacOS do you run?

You can install QB Desktop 2019 without a code and open any company file up to 15 times. Did you encounter the same problem? Make sure to secure your backup file on QB desktop 2016 beforehand.

Greetings, @VoiceMan.

Thank you for providing clarification on your concern. I would like to address the issue you raised regarding missing entries in invoices and bills to pay that do not appear on QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

The steps provided by my colleague above should help settle the issue as the verify and rebuild data didn't work, I recommend opening a sample file and trying to enter an invoice. If the invoice shows up, this help us verify what is the main cause of the issue.

To open a sample file for QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, here's the step:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop Mac
  2. In the No Company Open window, navigate your cursor to the Open a sample file section and click the dropdown arrow.
  3. Select the sample file and follow the on-screen instructions to finish.
