Hi, I uninstalled, emptied my trash can, restarted computer, followed your link and re-installed. Still no 3 per page and it still says I am completely up to date:
"QuickBooks 19.0.10.962 R11 is currently the newest version available."
This worked. Thank you!
I feel your pain. I followed someone's instructions and it worked. Select QB update again from help. There are 3 tabs. Select the update now tab, check rest update, then update. That's how I fixed mine & I'm printing 3 to a page! All I had to do was restart QB, accept updates & WINNER! If it works for you, please share.
I did all that. The program will print the 1096 (I hardwired my printer) but will not print or provide a print preview for the 1099--I have only one 1099 to print from the desktop version for this client.
I followed the instructions and there was nothing new to update so nothing was installed and it still is setup to print 2 part 1099-nec.
Hi there, @kwoodrob and @cloud2. I'll be assisting you to get the 3 to a page 1099-NEC.
I understand how crucial it is to submit the forms earlier than the due date. To confirm, have you already performed the solution shared by my peer, @AileneA? If so, you'll have to check the Critical Fixes or New Feature Update in the QuickBooks Desktop 2019 version and Reset Update box to ensure everything will work fine.
Once done, make sure to remap the accounts and clear all mapping under the MISC tab. Doing this will cause you to remap NEC and MISC accounts again and be able to print the 3 to a page 1099-NEC form.
On the other hand, @Tap31959 and @KarenEisen , I appreciate you both sharing that the update works successfully for you. Thanks for bringing up this to the Community and introducing additional fixes.

Thank you for your response but as stated earlier, I have QB desktop for Mac 2020 and that is not an option. There is no Help>Update Quickbooks Desktop>Update Now tab... The only option QB Mac 2020 offers to update is the Quickbooks>Check for updates option. which continuously tells me I am up to date: "Quickbooks 19.0.10.962 R11 is currently the newest version available"
I did the reset updates and that did the trick. Thanks so much for everyone's help!
Hello, kwoodrob.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. QuickBooks for MAC version 2019 and 2020, to print the page3 for 1099 NEC is still unavailable. We may need to get the latest release version of QuickBooks installed to be able to print the 1099 NEC page3.
I'm also adding this article to help prepare and file your federal 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop for Mac: Create and file 1099s.

I was told by tech support on the phone that there is no update yet for QB for Mac 2019/2020 that will allow printing three to a page for 1099 NEC. So uninstalling and reinstalling won't make a difference. Can someone from Intuit confirm this so people don't waste their time?
This is not a fix option on a MAC. Still cannot print the correct 3 forms per page from QB desktop MAC 2020
I am having same problem
I know that this would be beneficial when the 1099-NEC form is ready to be printed in QuickBooks Desktop, Mattfarber7262, and retana.
I'm here to share information on the actions you need to help take care of this matter.
I appreciate you for following the suggested resolutions above. Since the Community is a public forum, and we'll need to collect some personal information to pull up your account, I encourage you to reach out to our Technical Support team. They have tools to check on the status of the E-file.

Finally working in QBDT 2019 r16, 2021 r8, 2022 r3..thank you
BUT
Not in QBDT 2020 r13 !
I have 900 1099-NEC's to print for 118 clients....This is UNACCEPTABLE...it's day 12 of tax season!!
I followed the steps and it did not change
I have 2020 QB Desktop for Mac and software has no update for 1099-NEC for 3 up forms. When will this update be forthcoming ?
This does not work for me
Thank you so much for this update, this is critical since we only have two weeks to prepare the forms. What about QB Online? We still see the 2-part for the 1099 NEC form. Please advise when the form is updated to the 3-part or if there is any special update to be done or setting that needs to be changed on our end. Thanks
This issue is still not fixed. I was coerced into buying QB Pro 2022 because was told my 2018 version would no longer print. The Intuit Rep said "100% the 2022 version will be able to print the 1099 forms correctly." They do not. Do you have an estimated time for this to be corrected? All forms are due in less than three weeks.
This does not help. And it was already posted earlier in this thread.
After I did an update, it remapped my 1099 vendors and can't change it back. Hopefully they fix it soon.
Doesn't work!
What year QB are you using?
2018 and older are not supported and the updates will not work.
I have Quickbooks Desktop Mac 2020 Version V19.0.10 R11. When I check for Quickbooks updates, I'm told there aren't any. When I go to Help, Update Quickbooks Desktop is not an option, nor can I find it through an exact word search. I also can't find critical fixes through a word search.
What year of QB are you using? Only 2019 and newer will do the 3-up forms.
