Currently, we have an ongoing investigation about the duplicate sales entries from Etsy to the program. I assure you that our product engineers are actively working to have a permanent fix. As an alternative, you'll have to manually exclude them. This lets you remove the duplicate entries in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I'll guide you how.
For detailed instructions, go through this article: Exclude or Delete Transactions.
In line with this, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They can add your account to the list of affected users. This ensures you're in the loop about the investigation's status and its fix. You can provide the INV-41299 to our representative as your reference. Just go to the Help menu at the upper right. Then, click Contact us and choose your preferred support method. For more details, visit this article: Contact QBSE Support.
Once excluded, you can categorize and edit your Etsy transactions. This ensures your financial records are accurate. For more information, visit this article: Categorizing Transactions. This link also has the same process in categorizing your other bank transactions.
You can count me in if there's anything else you need. Take care always, @hutchinsmichelle.
This is ridiculous. There's no way to delete this and repull the information? I have hundreds of lines to sort through currently.
Thanks for joining the thread, @Slickery.
I've taken a look at the investigation mentioned by my colleague above and our engineers are still working with Etsy to resolve the issue. In the meantime, you'll need to manually exclude the transactions. I know that this is interrupting your business flow, so I recommend contacting our Support Team to be added to the list of affected users. You'll also receive email updates as the issue progresses. Just follow the link provided by my colleague above to get in touch.
Have a safe weekend!
So I hadn't looked at my 2019 sales through QB. My son was in an accident in August and I haven't kept an eye on QB. Thankfully I didn't pull it into turbotax because it is double what it should be. What a nightmare! One of the things I noticed was the classification of transaction fees that were duplicated as comissions.
Ugh my entire post just vanished. Long story short, after fixing this year as much as possible (still over by a couple hundred but I give up) and talking to several customer service people, Manually fixing this is a nightmare. My 2019 is screwed up as well with income double what it should be.
