AR detailed report showing items purchased

Hello, Lois.

You'll have the option to customize the Sales by Customer Detail report to display the items purchased on invoices. I'll show you how.

1. Go to the Reports menu and select Sales.
2. From the drop-down, pick Sales by Customer Detail.
3. Click the Customize Report button, then the Filters tab.
4. In the Filter dropdown, locate the Paid status and choose Open.
5. Go back to the Filter dropdown, then select Transaction Types and choose Invoice.
6. Once done, hit OK.

Thank you for that response but it is not the report I am looking for.

AR/Aging Detail

I have attached the report that I need to customize but can't figure it out.  I am open to another report but it needs to show Aging with what the customer purchased like the report I have attached.

You'll have to pull up both the A/R Aging Detail and Sales by Customer Detail reports so you can get the data you need in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Let me share further details about this below.

An accounts receivable aging report lists unpaid customer invoices by periodic date ranges. With this, you'll have to pull up, customize, and export both A/R Aging Detail and Sales by Customer Detail and manually combine them to show aging with what the customer purchased in a single report. This is because the A/R Aging Detail report alone won't display the items your customer purchased.
