Can the statement template be modified? Our logo on invoice template looks great, however the Statement template cuts off the logo on the right side

We use the standard template for customizing the statement, tracyagardner.

Let's modify the form style by following steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon located in the upper right-hand corner, and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Under the Action column, click the Edit link of the Standard template.
  3. From the Design tab, select the Edit print settings and adjust the Page margins on the right.
  4. Click Done.

Here's a sample screenshot:

Then, go back and open the statement and click the Print or Preview link at the bottom.

I'm also adding this article for reference: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

We are having the same issue.  The logo on our statements is MUCH larger than what is on our invoices.  It gets cut off on the right side.  Changing the margins for the default invoice did not help.  Is there another workaround since there is no customization allowed for statements?

Hi there, @Mventura.

Let's get this problem handled.

After reviewing this thread, my colleague @RenjolynC provided the correct information.

If the steps above didn't resolve your issue, let's try changing the logo file type, for example, a PDF, JPG, and PNG.

How to change a file type:

  1. Open the photo in Microsoft Paint.
  2. Click the File menu button in the upper-left corner of the screen.
  3. Select Save As from the drop-down menu that appears.
  4. In the box next to Save As Type, click the down arrow.
  5. Click on your new file format and click Save.

I'm also going to attach a link below with some additional information about logos as well:

Can the statement template be modified? Our logo on invoice template looks great, however the Statement template cuts off the logo on the right side

I have uploaded the QBO APP and when I go to print a customer statement, packing slip, or purchase order, My company name and half my logo are cut off due to the top margin being less that 0.25.

Can I change my top margin to be 0.50?

In customer fields, "Standard" is not an option. When I click "Edit" in Actions on PO, it does not give the option for "Design".

I did and the preview shows no top margin in QBO APP. I have to go on QBO Google to show a 0.25 margin.

Hello there, TTDepot.

I appreciate you sharing updates about the steps you've performed as well as the results. I can see how difficult this has been. That's why I'm here to provide additional information so you'll be able to print the logo correctly in QuickBooks Online.

When uploading a logo in QuickBooks, there are requirements that we need to follow.

The logo should be:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • The top margin in sales form should be between 0.5" and 3.2"
  • Smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
  • Square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work
  • Using the standard RGB color space.

Also, the option to edit or change your purchase order(PO) and statement template is not available. QuickBooks only lets you personalize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts. The only thing we can do in your PO is added custom fields, customize the transaction, and enter a default message on the form.

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Expenses tab and click Purchase Orders.
  3. Modify the information.
  4. Click Save, and then Done.

Meanwhile, we can do some mobile troubleshooting steps and check if there are changes. It'll also help refresh the application and eliminates common issues.

 For Android devices:

  1. From More Options, then select the Settings tab.
  2. Choose the Refresh Data menu and then Hit Yes.

For iOs:

  1. Go to the Help and Feedback at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Refresh Data and then click Refresh

I don't have a problem with our Logo. The Logo is perfect. I need to change the top margin from 0.00 to 0.25.
