You can add Received by: on the Message on invoice box, so it will be printed on the invoice and your customer can sign the invoice.
You can also add the message to your invoice template, it will automatically come our every time you create invoices.
If there are other things that you need to show on your invoices, please let me know.
My customers sign the invoice on my phone but they want the signature to be on the invoice that I email them since it is for services done. How do I get their signature on the invoice that is emailed to them?

Thanks for dropping by! It's quick and easy to send an invoice with the client's signature using the mobile app. Let me show you how.
Once you save the invoice, you'll see a summary of it with the Get signature and the Send invoice button. First, click the Get signature to capture the customer's signature and save it. Then, tap Send invoice to send it and the signature will be added to the PDF file automatically that is attached to the email.

Hello, I have followed the instructions of capturing the customer's signature and sending them the invoice. Their invoice does not have the signature on it and when I preview the PDF, there is no signature.

After going through the chat customer service, it has been determined that the signature on invoice feature is only available in the QBO Advanced subscription (highest level at $180/mo). Therefore I did everything correctly but ran into the paywall.
You may consider having a 3rd party app as a workaround to lower your cost.
I’ve been using the app for some time to collect signatures the way it’s listed but its not working as if two days. When I click on get signature there is no error it just sort of greys out and goes nowhere. Did something change? Or is this not free anymore and we are being forced to upgrade to advance and also getting a doc sign account?

I understand how important to have the Get Signature feature working when processing an invoice or estimate for a customer.
There have been no changes, and capturing signatures in QuickBooks Online is currently unavailable. However, you can use the QuickBooks mobile app Get Signature feature to capture and attach a signature to an invoice or estimate.
The DocuSign account you're referring to is a third-party connector that allows you to obtain customer signatures. To connect this to QuickBooks, you must have a QuickBooks Online Advanced account. This isn't required if you're using the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
Going back to your issue, we are currently investigating the Get Signature feature if you're using an iOS phone. We've received reports that some customers' screens are greyed out or frozen, with only a white screen visible. If you're using an iPhone or iPad, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online support to be added to the list of affected users.

After that, we'll clear the app's data to refresh the app and remove any outdated files that are causing the feature to fail. From your phone's setting, select Apps and then choose the QuickBooks app from the list. Tap Storage then clear data.

Can we do this in the US? My app does not look like that.
Jesus, $180 just to show the signature is unacceptable. Can someone post some ways around this . Can we add Adobe or a 3rd party software to add the signature. This should come with the service in the first place. Come on Quickbooks!

I totally agree with this it’s absolute BS the fact that the backwards way of having some kind of weird solution on a phone and then nothing on desktop and making it all be connected it it being 2024 like WTF I have no idea why even use this freaking service. If it can get any of its products or an order from how much we pay and all the messed up moving parts that would be great. Support person can feel free to leave their feedback below and it will get tended to in the order of how much I care anymore about this service working normally lol QB why are you like this WHY
