How can I link my CardMember Services account to QuickBooks?

Welcome to the Community, @alison-sockysbar.

Given that you have connected your other account and cannot connect your second one to the same financial institution in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let’s perform a troubleshooting to determine if the issue is related to your browser.

To start, let’s open an incognito browser. This will prevent your browsing history from being saved and start afresh. Based on the type of browser you are using, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you have successfully connected your accounts using the private browser, try logging in and back to your account in your regular browser to refresh the browser and see the changes made. You can also use other up-to-date browsers supported by QuickBooks to have a smooth and secure experience.

Additionally, I'm leaving you this article that discusses categorizing and matching your credit card transactions in QBO: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to comment below if you have further questions regarding your credit card connectivity in QBO. I'm just a post away.

How can I link my CardMember Services account to QuickBooks?

I have the same issue ever since Sandy Springs Bank has updated their connections.

This is a business account and im trying to put all employees credit cards back into QuickBooks. However, its only allowing me to add one credit card and none of the other cards even show up for me to add.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

How can I link my CardMember Services account to QuickBooks?

Hi there, @ap82. Allow me to share with you some insights regarding your concern.

When you connect your online bank and credit card accounts, QuickBooks automatically download new transactions. However, if this is not happening, or updates seem stuck, don't worry. Here are some solutions to get QuickBooks downloading transactions again.

Firstly, I recommend trying to connect your bank account again. It's also important to check your bank's website for any messages, notifications, or alerts that may be affecting the connection. Make sure there are no display issues that could be blocking QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.

If you recently updated your bank account information, such as your account number, username, or password, make sure to update that information in QuickBooks as well. To do this:

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Select the tile for the bank account. Then select the Edit ✎ icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Update your info as needed.

If you encounter an error or cannot see recently downloaded bank transactions, you can refer to this article that explains error codes and how to fix them: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online
