How can I obtain invoice link to share via text message or social media message?

I have the steps where you can get the link, projectshopvilla.

When you're done creating the invoice, you can open it again and follow the steps below to get the link: 

1. Go to Sales > Customers.
2. Select the customer's name on the list. 
3. Find and open the invoice. 
4. In the Invoice page, click the drop-down arrow next to the Save and close. 
5. Choose Save and share link.
6. Click the Copy link button in the Send your customer a link to their invoice window. Then paste and send it via text or any other messaging platform.

You need a 3rd party app to do so.

Having the same struggle.  I make sales through social media channels.  Today I did get a new prompt when going to invoicing saying it is now easier to share link directly with quickbooks and copy for social media.  However your screenshot doesn't match what I'm seeing.  I just get the error: "Please add the customer's email address to share this invoices's link."  No other option to copy link.  

I'd be happy to help you how to get the invoice link in QuickBooks Online, @brownswoodworking.

You may need to enter a dummy email or your customer's email so that the option to get the link will be activated. This way, you can share it on social media with no sweat!

I've replicated your concern to show you why you're getting that error message:

Is there a way to obtain invoice links for a batch upload?

I'll show you a way on how to obtain a link from your invoice, mloveras.

In QuickBooks Online, we can only generate a link on your invoices individually. I'm glad to show you how.

1. Go to the Sales menu.
2. Select Invoices.
3. Locate the invoice you'd like to generate a link.
4. Click the drop-down menu under Action.
5. Choose Share invoice link. Ensure to add an email to the transaction.
6. Once done, click on Copy link.

I do understand how to get the link. However, is there any way to edit what was written on the link?

As per the link, it says Contact Company XXX if you're not sure how to pay this invoice. Is there any way to edit this? Thank you

The option to edit the link to an invoice is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. You can submit a feature request directly to our Product Development team from QuickBooks Online. By doing this, we will be able to improve your program experience.

few years later and they still haven't gotten around to handling this basic but imperative feature.  QBO, i was a big fan of yours and several of my buddies are in your product development team. Please handle this already so I can stop ragging on those friends whenever I see them.
