I'll share the steps on how to transfer money from QuickBooks Checking to your bank account, @destinharborhaul.
First off, let's link your bank account so you can move money from your QuickBooks Cash account. Here's how:
After that, QuickBooks will send two small deposits to the account within the next three (3) days. Then, you get the confirmation email and come back to QuickBooks to verify the transactions.
Once everything is set up, you can now transfer money from your QuickBooks Cash account to your bank account.
Let me add this resource for additional info: Use your QuickBooks Cash account.

Please keep in touch if there's anything else I can do to help you transfer your funds. I've got your back. Have a great day!
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the checking concern you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
What if there no "Transfer" option is available under Cash Flow? Thanks.
@ReymondO I am having this same issue, except I don't have the ability to transfer in my clients QuickBooks Checking. My client has $320 in her QBO checking and no way to access it or transfer to her bank account. Is it a matter of subscription level or a setting I am missing?
Thanks for getting involved with this thread, Rooted_In_Ethics.
If you're using QuickBooks Online Accountant, you'll want to be aware that accountants can see their client's QuickBooks Checking account with read-only access. This means you can download statements, review/confirm transaction details, and view other documentation. This can be achieved through client view.
When it comes to transfers, they'll have to be performed by the account's owner. For them to perform a transfer, they'll initially need to connect a bank account to their QuickBooks Checking account.
Here's how:
After initiating a connection, Intuit will sent two small deposits to your account within the next 3 business days. Once you see your deposits in the account, return to QuickBooks and verify your transactions:
Now you'll be able to transfer funds into and out of your QuickBooks Checking account.
I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Have a wonderful Friday!
Where is "Transfer" located? I don't see that option anywhere, in the banking screen nor in the Cash Flow area. I have also tried the +New and doing a "Transfer" and that doesn't work either. Can you send a screen shot?
Let's make sure you'll be able to access the Transfer button, Rooted.
You should be able to see the Transfer button once you've already signed up for QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Checking and ensure the account is active. Once you've done that, you can follow the steps provided by my colleague @ZackE.
However, if you're still unable to view the button, I suggest contacting our support team so they can investigate further. They have the tools to securely pull up your account and check if there are other users who are experiencing the same. You can also do a screen share if you'd like so they can guide you better. Here's how to reach out to them:
