Unfortunately, you can't just edit one sub-account to another. You will need to take the following two steps:

• Uncheck sub-account and save.
• Make sub-account to another after that.

I'd be glad to walk you through with the process, junehoustoncorp2.

To make the current account as sub-account, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to Accounting > Chart of Accounts.
2. Find the account and select the drop-down arrow next to the View register link.
3. Choose Edit.
4. In the Account window, select the parent account from the Is sub-account drop-down menu.
5. Hit the Save and Close button.
