How to add "In words" in invoice?

You can customize your invoice so you can add a message for your customers.

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
3. Select New style.
4. Tap Invoice.
5. Under Content, select the Footer section.
6. On the Message to customer field, enter your customer's message.
7. Click Done.

It should be taken automatically from the invoice total value.

Has there been any further development answering this question in QuickBooks?. It is important to have this automated in the invoicing processes otherwise time consuming process of having to type in the amount in words in the footer.

Can you get developers to work on this feature??? More specifically it would be better if it can also be supported in Spanish. In Honduras we have regulations that make us write the total amount in words for invoice/payments. Thank you.

At times, we roll out enhancements based on our customer's requests. That being said, I suggest sending a recommendation to our product developers. They'll review this idea and may consider updating it in the future.

Here's how:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Go to the Gear located at the top.
3. Under Profile, click Feedback.
4. Enter your recommendation and select Submit.
