I am wanting to use quickbooks as invoicing and accounting software in my Automotive repair business but I do not know how to set up an automotive repair invoice template

I can walk you through customizing your invoice template, boyle-michael-ra.

We don't have a specific template for automotive repair. You'll want to design your own template using our system-generated invoice styles or import your own by following our format. 

To start customizing, you can use these easy steps: 

1. Click the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
2. At the upper-right, click the New style drop-down and click Invoice.
3. Go to the Design tab and style your template.
4. Click the Content tab and click the Header section of the sample template and add or remove info. The same goes with the Table and Footer section.
5. To customize how they'll look when being sent to your customers, click the Emails tab.
6. Click Done.

You'll want to check out our third-party apps that you can integrate into QuickBooks and generate your preferred automotive repair invoice template. Yes, customizing the invoice template will work on the basic QuickBooks Online. However, importing your own template is unavailable in the simple start version.
