I can’t save anything on my Quickbooks. It keeps saying it ran into a problem trying to do what I asked. It won’t let me save invoices, won’t let me save payments. Help?

Hello there, @barefootinstalla.

 

I have some information about this issue. This has been reported and was closed yesterday. Since you're still having the same issue, I recommend you clear your browser's cache or use a private browser.

 

Here's how to open a private browser:

  •     Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  •     Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  •     Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  •     Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Here's how to clear cache:

 

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click More.
  3. Choose More Tools, then Clear browsing data.
  4. Add a time range. Select All time to delete everything.
  5. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files,".
  6. Choose Clear data.

 

Also, you can check on how to customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online for more tips and information in creating transactions.

I just went into it my quickbooks to do what you said and EVERYTHING is now gone. All my customers, products, invoices, EVERYTHING!! This isn’t good! This is horrible!!!!!

This is not the impression we want you to experience when saving transactions in QucikBooks Online (QBO), barefootinstalla.

 

The steps provided by my colleague helps us to better isolate if this is caused by a browser-related issue or not. Since the same thing happens and all the sales transactions were gone, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll pull out your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.   1. Go to the Help icon.
  2. Click on the Contact Us button.
