I have a existing merchant account with Heartland payment systems. Can I connect that to my quickbooks on line account so my customers can pay me from an invoice I sent?

Upon checking, we're unable to link Heartland Payment Systems to QuickBooks Online. I've also tried looking for a bridging software in the QuickBooks Apps Store to connect the two, but to no avail.

I would suggest connecting your bank account to download your payment transactions and adding them to your books. Or, you can manually record them in QuickBooks.

As far as I know, it doesn't support QB. You may consider another payment service for free.

I just came across your great question. We use a program called Chargezoom they allow us to use any gateway including Heartland. Here is a link to their site.
