The Quantity and Rate columns are still available in Essentials, lelarrauriv.
We just need to customize the estimate template to show the Quantity column. Let me show you how:
Please come back with me if you need anything else. Thanks!
Glad to have you here, @lelarrauriv!
I'll be happy to tell you that Estimate is available in Essentials plan.

Hello, thanks for your reply
I am been able to create estimates, but in my product item line, I can not indicate quantity. Is this because I am using Essential Plan?
I don't care about tracking the quantity, as I do dropshipping, however I will want my estimates to get the quantity to multiply for the unit price
Thanks
Luis

Check customize forms and insure that the down grade did not turn off the qty column on the forms, estimate, invoice etc
Hi,
I checked my customized form, and when I see the preview show the quantity in the form.
But in the estimate screen, when I am doing estimate doesn't show. Or is there any other place where I can turn that off?
Thanks
Luis

When you checked the template and it had the qty block
bring up the estimate and use the customize link at the bottom and insure you have same template selected.
by default, QB uses the last saved template
Yes, it has the same template selected.
It is a custom form, that was uploaded from Word
The same template has the qty in the form but when I am doing a real estimate, doesn't show up
So I think is because Essential Plan doesn't allow to track inventory therefore, no quantities at all are allowed even in estimates.
Good day, @lelarrauriv.
I'm here to help figure out some ways to get this estimate template working for you.
Let's try checking by making a new template for an estimate. Then delete the estimate and recreate a new one and make sure to select the correct template. However if the quantity still won't show on the estimated created, let's try using a private browser to check if this is related to a browser issue.
Depending on your browser, here's how:
If this works fine with Private Browsing, I recommend clearing your browser's cache (regular browser) to start fresh. You can also try switching to other supported browsers or try an alternate computer.
However, if the issue persists I'd suggest contacting our Online Care Support to help isolate this issue further. They can access your account in a secure environment and determine the cause of the issue using their tools.
Here's how to get their contact information:
Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be here to help if you have other questions.
Hello,
I just post another question.
I am not located in USA. I upgraded 2 years ago from QB Enterprise and to avoid losing data QB, automatically put me in QBO USA instead of International.
Anyway besides phone number, is there a way to contact QB support by chat, whatsapp or message or email, as I don't have USA number.
Right now i could solve the issue of the quantity in the estimates, but now I found that all my old products that I had to make inactive to downgrade from Plus to Essential, as all were inventory, apparently now I only can create Non-Inventory products, and when I try to change the sale price to my existing inventory products, which I have to manually activate, show me an error message, as I can not put its cost or accoung of COGS
Hi there, lelarrauriv.
Thanks for giving such detailed information about how you've tried to track inventories in QuickBooks Online. I've got some details to share about this.
The inventory tracking feature is only available in the Plus version. You'll only be able to create Non-inventory, Service, and Bundle types of products or services. For more details about the process, click the articles below:
