Join nowHello, @tcoleman-garagef.
You will only receive mail if you apply to QuickBooks Checking. Please take note that you can only apply QB Checking if you already subscribe to QuickBooks Payments. QB Checking is a business bank account that has no monthly fees, no minimum balances, and no instant deposit fees. It gives your business complete financial management, cash flow forecasting, and interest-earning potential.
However, If you're really sure that you haven't applied any of these. You can close it by giving us a call to verify why you received those mail without applying. You can reach out to our team by contacting the number on the back of your QuickBooks Debit Card.
For more detailed information about QB checking, you can refer to this article: QuickBooks Checking FAQ.
If you have further questions about QB checking or any QBO-related concerns, you can comment below, and we'll respond to you as soon as possible.
I did not subscribe to Quickbooks Payments either, at least not knowingly. I don't want that or the checking account, so I don't know how that happened. I also don't see a phone number on the back of the card; it's just the card number, expiration date, and CVV. So I need to know what number to call to get this resolved.
Thanks for reaching back and clarifying your concern about the debit card you received in the mail, @tcoleman-garagef.
You should only receive a QuickBooks debit card if you use QuickBooks Payments. Since you're not subscribed to this, I recommend contacting our Payments Support Team as they have all the necessary tools to pull up your account and explain why you receive such mail. You can connect with them through your QBO account. Here's how:
Make sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

I also just received a Quickbooks debit card in the mail that I didn't sign up for. I don't even use Quickbooks (I use Quicken Home and Business).
Thanks for joining this thread, @jennogle. I'd like to clarify things about getting a QuickBooks debit card without having an active account for Payments.
Regarding your concern, please know that you should only receive a QuickBooks debit card if you're using QuickBooks Payments or Merchant Services. Here's an article for more details about this feature: Use the QuickBooks debit card to get your cash.
Nonetheless, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments Support Team if you have further clarifications about the debit card you received.

I didn't receive an email, I received a debit card in the mail. As far as I know, I never signed up for Quickbooks Payments.
Thanks for the prompt follow-up, jenn.
If you haven't signed up for QuickBooks Payments, it's unlikely that you will receive a debit card from them. However, since you've received one and didn't sign up for QuickBooks Payments, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Payments Support team again to inquire about why you received the card. Our support team has the necessary tools to investigate your account and explain why you received the card. To contact them, here's how:
You can contact them from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

I've now been either on hold or passed around to different departments for the last 40 minutes. No one I talked to seemed to understand anything about how to resolve this or the seriousness of a bank account being open without any confirmation from me. Someone has just told me they closed the account, but it doesn't show as being closed within QBO and she says she cannot provide me any email confirmation that she closed it. This is absolutely unacceptable for a business service.
Absolutely ridiculous. I also received a debit card that I did not sign up for and just was on hold for like 30 minutes. Finally gave up. This sounds like something that the Attorney General needs to hear about. This is very very shady to open accounts for people that did not ask for them. I thought I was an anomaly. Clearly, that is not the case!
I got a debit card from these incompetent buffoons as well. Totally unsolicited. Love their lies of only people who apply get one. They are definitely up to some sort of scam. Reminds me of Wells Fargo opening unsolicited accounts and like QuickBooks they too lied about them.
I ALSO JUST GOT ONE OF THESE!!!! WTF... The only account I ever had with Intuit was with mint. I knew I should have deleted it. How are they opening up debit cards in all of our names?
